WOYWDW - a whole lot of stuff!

Good morning WOYWDW'ers! If you are new to the woywdw madness then pop over to Julia's blog to se where it all started!!
I have been crafting in the front room with mum this week so there's a whole lotta stuff on my desk today! Well I think there is a desk under there!!
You can see my latest LOVE chipboard album which I decorated with Pepper & Friends papers. (you can see the post a couple before this) There's one of Susie's dinosaur die cuts on the card for my nephew. A couple of candles I've bought to decorate & lots of stuff!!
Here's a sneaky peak in my punches draw.
here's a peak at my scrap bits draw (I am very anal & keep every scrap!!)
Heres a pic of my shelves. I have had a bit of a move round.

& finally a picture of Burper aka Nibble the pencil sharpener. I had a lot of comments about him last week. I was hoping to video him to show you but his batteries are flat!!! I have googled him & Play.com do the cheapest one 12.99 but he is green.

I think I managed to get round about a 3rd of the desks last week including everyone who visited me.
I am really tired today so not sure how far I'll get, but again if you visit me I will return the favour even if a little late!!

Lots going on there - wonderful!! That's what I like to see, especially when stuff's been piled up, he, he. I do that, too - migrate to the kitchen table, then pile it all back in and wonder where it all came from. Love the pencil sharpener and your storage looks fab and very organised. Thanks for sharing.

This is as it should be - a busy desk but tidy drawers so you can find stuff. Am I boring or what liking tidy in some places. Just means more time for crafting if there is less for looking for things.

Now Helen, be honest and revealing - you may keep every scrap - but do you use every scrap? No doubt at all tha tif you aren;t using your desk, it grows stuff..mine just gets used as a dump-it-on-there-to-deal-with-later surface. My own fault too!

ok so be honest, is the front room just as messy what with 2 of you crafting in there lol

How I price my toys ....

.....I thought I would share with you today how I price my knitted Monsters.
I spent a long time researching how to price them and looking at how much other people charge for their toys (which are often not CE tested which they should be!)
Pricing ingredients: Cost of the products: wool, stuffing Use of equipment & other: Knitting needles, scissors, electricity for lights  My time: Designing the toy, knitting the toy, testing the toy CE Test: Making sure my toy is to CE standards
Now you have to decided how much you want to pay yourself an hour and any extra profit
How much do you get paid an hour? Shall we say minimum wage £7.50 per hour
The largest toy I make is Pookiechu (the pink one) she takes me 16 hours to make 16 x 7.50 = 120
so that makes Pookiechu £120 before I've even added on the cost of any wool etc!
I therefore decided to pay myself a lot less and she became £65 However even though I know you are paying for a quality toy made with quality products and to the CE stand…

Buttons Picture Gift

This week Murphy's friend's little sister turned one and I decided I would have a go at a buttons picture as a present for her. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Very pretty for a very pretty little girly. She's my little smiley buddy when I do the school run. No matter how I feel she makes me smile.
If you would like to order a picture gift please contact me for more details
