WOYWW - not quite a desk again this week but some crafting was done!!

Oh my where has the week gone??
Sorry I missed last week. I was niece sitting for a little while & then this week I haven't got a chance to take a picture of my desk but I did snap a quick one of my visitor with my Elle DT project for sat!!
Its 2 week old Eva

I sit down before seeing these pics lol!! I got hubby aka uncle Andi to have a snuggle!!

 awwwww!!

I also had my older niece Emily & her friend round today (busy but nice day, shattered now!)
We all sat up in my new craft space & this is what they made
This one is Emily's for her bedroom wall.

& this one is Tammi's for her bedroom. She is going to put a photo of her & Em in the middle when she gets back.

I did just try & go take a picture of my work space as I now have my desk & more shelves up but hubby has gone walk abouts & workshop was locked up :-( I need my own keys!
Hope you all had a good day. We had sun all day plus all my visitors & some crafting so I've had a great day.
Apologies I probably won't get to visit many people today as its getting late & I am tired but I'll try catch up in the week.
Don't forget to go to Julia's blog where all this woyww all started for more snoops!!

Love that hanging piece you made. I know I'm late, but there are so many blogs now. You really need your own keys (grin) so we can see your work space. Of course, you can craft anywhere and we will snoop!

How I price my toys ....

.....I thought I would share with you today how I price my knitted Monsters.
I spent a long time researching how to price them and looking at how much other people charge for their toys (which are often not CE tested which they should be!)
Pricing ingredients: Cost of the products: wool, stuffing Use of equipment & other: Knitting needles, scissors, electricity for lights  My time: Designing the toy, knitting the toy, testing the toy CE Test: Making sure my toy is to CE standards
Now you have to decided how much you want to pay yourself an hour and any extra profit
How much do you get paid an hour? Shall we say minimum wage £7.50 per hour
The largest toy I make is Pookiechu (the pink one) she takes me 16 hours to make 16 x 7.50 = 120
so that makes Pookiechu £120 before I've even added on the cost of any wool etc!
I therefore decided to pay myself a lot less and she became £65 However even though I know you are paying for a quality toy made with quality products and to the CE stand…

Buttons Picture Gift

This week Murphy's friend's little sister turned one and I decided I would have a go at a buttons picture as a present for her. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Very pretty for a very pretty little girly. She's my little smiley buddy when I do the school run. No matter how I feel she makes me smile.
If you would like to order a picture gift please contact me for more details
