Sponsoring & Guest DT-ing for Glitterbabe's...whoop!

Good morning bloggers. This is a scheduled post so I hope it has worked ok?!!
Stef from Glitterbabe's asked if I would like to sponsor one of her challenges over at
& of course I said yes!!
She very kindly also asked me if I would like to GDT so I am thrilled to share with you my project for my GDT using their theme of 'Embossing'

I have used a recycled Body Shop body butter pot (which smells yummy!!)
Decorated the lid & inside with pink card stock which has been embossed with a cuttlebug winter embossing folder & then used my nesties to cut out the circle.
I have used some ribbon & silver elastic from my stash to decorate the edge with a mini die cut angel bear & Christmas wishes die cut from Daisy & Dandelion.
I have used my silver pen to go round the embossed words on the lid & 3D glitter glue on the snowflakes.
The snowman is one of my digis which you can buy HERE in the sale for just £0.40p
Be sure to pop over & join in because you can win 4 of my digis

How I price my toys ....

.....I thought I would share with you today how I price my knitted Monsters.
I spent a long time researching how to price them and looking at how much other people charge for their toys (which are often not CE tested which they should be!)
Pricing ingredients: Cost of the products: wool, stuffing Use of equipment & other: Knitting needles, scissors, electricity for lights  My time: Designing the toy, knitting the toy, testing the toy CE Test: Making sure my toy is to CE standards
Now you have to decided how much you want to pay yourself an hour and any extra profit
How much do you get paid an hour? Shall we say minimum wage £7.50 per hour
The largest toy I make is Pookiechu (the pink one) she takes me 16 hours to make 16 x 7.50 = 120
so that makes Pookiechu £120 before I've even added on the cost of any wool etc!
I therefore decided to pay myself a lot less and she became £65 However even though I know you are paying for a quality toy made with quality products and to the CE stand…

Buttons Picture Gift

This week Murphy's friend's little sister turned one and I decided I would have a go at a buttons picture as a present for her. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Very pretty for a very pretty little girly. She's my little smiley buddy when I do the school run. No matter how I feel she makes me smile.
If you would like to order a picture gift please contact me for more details
