Crafting is my therapy. What's yours?

I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety and depression. Together they can make me a very fatigued, emotional, angry, withdrawn person. I over do things because keeping busy takes me away from the anxiety and depression, but the truth is all I am doing is running straight into the arms of my fatigue monster when I do it! This picture is something I thought of the other day to explain this feeling.

I try to meditate and I am starting to do small amounts of stretching and yoga, but the one thing that helps keep relaxed and sane, and has done for many years now is my crafting.
I love all kinds of crafts. My latest makes are my CE tested Sensory Monsters "The Peepos" they are great to touch and cuddle when you're feeling blue.

I have also found my online friends in the crafting communities and chronic fatigue groups very helpful and comforting. Stops you feeling so isolated.

Something that brings me happiness is helping others which I hope to do with my sensory toys and also my Me, Myself & CFS/ME blog where you can follow my journey of what I've tried and tested. What has worked for me and hopefully some advice and tips so please pop over and follow it if it's something of interest to you.

My final piece of advice is find something you love to do and make it your therapy as I have with crafting.
Stay well

Colouring time with my boy ☺

Murphy and I have been enjoying some colouring time together the past few days. He seems to be really getting into it. I've even let him use my promarkers! I've really enjoyed getting back into it although my neck is protesting! Good to be back 😁

Where have you been? I hear you cry!

Where the heck have you been? I hear you cry! Well I am busy working full time on my job (being a mummy) & part time on my fortune!
This is my full time job! He's called Murphy & is now two years old.
Why have I not been crafting? Well I am making some small short term sacrifices for a very huge fantastic long term goal......making memories with this little dude! The time I would have been using to craft I am building a successful international business! This business opportunity is open to anyone & can change your life in ways you never dreamed possible all you have to do is put some work in.
Would you be interested in  supplementing your income,  working from home around current commitments,  how would an extra £200-500 per month help you? What about £800-2000 per month?

I suffer with CFS/ME, Fybromyalgia, anxiety and depression. They take up a large amount of my energy and time along with my family so I need an out, something for me and that is Ellephantastic. It's my creative life. Being creative, being inspired by other peoples creativity and inspiring others with my creativity are what keep me going.
