Please carefully read these terms of sale before placing your order or purchase

  • These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts (ECC)

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the buyer's statutory rights.
  • The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below) and ECC reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any individual or company at its absolute discretion.
  • ECC may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
  • "We" and "Us" refers to Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts (ECC)
  • The delivery times given are approximate.
  • Due to me having ME/CFS however there may be the occassional times when a delivery date may not be met but you will received prior notice of this via email. (I hope though that this will never happen!)


Description, Price of goods and Payment

  • Images and descriptions of any of the products are provided as a guide only.
  • All product measurements are approximate.
  • All goods on ECC website are described accurately as possible and we will not accept liability for any errors in the description of goods on the website.
  • At all times we ensure that the prices displayed on our website are accurate, we do reserve the right to validate all prices before we process your order.
  • The price of the goods shall be that stipulated on the ECC website. All prices quoted are in British Pounds. The price is  inclusive of VAT.
  • The total purchase price, including VAT (if any) & deliver charges, will be displayed in the buyer's shopping basket prior to confirming the order.
  • After an order is received, you will receive confirmation by email the details, description and price for the order.
  • We accept Paypal as method of payment. All transactions are processed using a secure server.
  • Transactions are accepted in Pound Sterling
  • Cheques maybe accepted under special circumstances and agreed privately with the buyer and ECC.
To Order an Ellephantastic item:

  • Please contact me for the appropriate order form
  • If you want to cancel the order you must do so within 7 days (see cancellation policy)
  • If you are not happy with the order once you have received it you must notify ECC within 3 days by email. (see returns policy in delivery and returns, cancellation policy)
  • If your item is not what you ordered/faulty/damaged please see warranty policy
Knitted items:

  • Once we have received your order we will contact you by email with the price and deposit amount (if applicable) for you to confirm.
  • Please allow up to 28 or 60 days for delivery to give time for the item to be made (see item details for delivery times)                                       
  • Once the sale is confirmed by you and deposit (if applicable) paid the item will be started.
  • Delivery times start from receipt of sale confirmation.
  • For personalised items not valid for resale we will require a £5.00 non refundable deposit on orders £15 or over exc jumpers.
  • All jumpers will require a £5.00 non refundable deposit for baby-5yrs and £10.00 for 10yrs to adult.
  • Deposits will be required up front before the item is made.
  • Deposits are only required for items which we cannot sell on
  • Payment/balance will be required once the item is complete and ready to despatch.
  • The item will not be despatched until payment/balance has been received.
  • Payment/balance/deposit requests will be made by email(paypal invoice)
  • Payment will be made by Paypal (cheque if agreed)
Cards, Gifts and other items

  • Once I have received your order you will be sent a confirmation email & price if applicable
  • On completion you will be sent an email with a picture of your order for you to accept or reject.
  • If you accept the order it will be despatched upon receival of payment.
  • Payment will be requested by email (paypal invoice).
  • Payment to be made by Paypal (cheque if agreed).
  • Please allow up to and including 10 working days for delivery to give time for them to be made and you to accept.
All things digital

  • Digi images/items are original artwork copyrighted 2009 to Helen Laurence/Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts
  • They are for personal use only
  • They may be re sized, coloured and printed but must not be digitized for embroidery
  • They must not be re-distributed including copying, lending, sharing, duplicating or re-selling either the products or their content
  • I am happy for you to use them on your cards/projects for sale
  • Your digi image/item will be sent to you by email once your payment is complete within 24 hours
  • Or you can click to go to Card Making downloads where you can buy and instantly download a selection of the images/digital items

Rights of Seller

  • ECC reserves the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the website at its discretion.
  • ECC reserves the right to withdraw any goods from the website at any time.
  • ECC shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any goods from the website or for refusing to process an order.
Cancellation

  • Under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund, credit note or replacement. Up to and including the 7th day after receipt.
  • If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to ECC at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown above. You must take care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime, or in transit.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund of any good(s) that are returned damaged.
  • We recommend that you use recorded delivery or above to ensure that the parcel reaches us, ECC cannot be held responsible for goods that do not reach us.
  • Once you have notified ECC that you are cancelling the contract, ECC will refund or re-credit you within 30 days.
Warranty

  • If the products ECC delivers to you are not as ordered, or are damaged, defective or of incorrect quantity, the seller's liability shall be limited to replacing the damaged or defective products, or making good the shortfall in quantity or at the seller's option crediting the price and delivery charges of those products to the buyer. The seller shall not be liable to the buyer for failure to deliver products ordered by the buyer unless notified to the seller within 42 days of the date of order. The buyer’s liability shall be limited to delivering the products ordered or at the seller’s option, crediting the price and delivery charges of the non-delivered products to the buyer.
  • Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the faulty/damaged/incorrect item by email.

Privacy Policy

  • Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the data protection act 1998).
  • We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly to process your order, and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
  • We may use your information to update you about offers and new products; however, this will only be with your consent if you have opted-in to receive such updates.
  • We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party
  • Contact information including email address, telephone number, address, etc. which is provided by the user is used solely for the purpose of completing the order. This includes information pertaining to gift recipients. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address is used solely to bill the customer for their order.
  • Please note that as we use Paypal to process all of our payments, none of your credit/debit card details are stored on any device owned or operated by us.
  • All comments are moderated & will not be published if they contain personal information eg email address etc.
